Pandora's Box

(wearing: Hat Zara, blazer Zara, dress all the way from africa, boots pittarello)
Last night was like opening a Pandora box. A particular event brought back to the surface a lot of bad feelings I thought I've overcome. Of course waking up this morning was a challenge, but I just tried to put all the negativity away and focus on the beautiful things this life offers daily. Firstly Blackmilk clothimg restocked some old items that I've been longing for for like ages so I might actually be able to get my hands on this, this and this. Secondly I spent the whole day with my lovely friends in this beautiful city. For the future I plan not to focus on how ugly the past might have been or how far the future might seem but I'll just try to enjoy every single day and do the most of a new chance I was granted. As the old saying goes, "Life by the yard is very hard; life by the inch is a cinch!"
p.s. how I wish I wore my Aldo wedges with socks instead of stupid boots but I had to ride my bike and head to the library for a while. Believe me, wearing a pair of high heels in that place might be compared to  stepping into the library with your waist adorned by a belt made of sticks of dynamite.
Between what do you guys say of my superman jump? do you like it?...not so much?! what?! not energetic enough?!...ok, I'll have to work on that -.-"

Forever Alone

(Wearing: Vintage oversized shirt, black skirt that I made and managed to ruin with an iron this evening..grr, romwe studded loafers, h&m necklace)
I probably should stop going to parties alone, going on vacation alone, studying alone. It's not good for the mind and soul. The only problem is that I really don't seem to find people who share my same interest or have my same vibe, in the small city I live. I often feel that I really don't fit here and if I stay I'll probably die of boredom. I dream of living in a big city and one day I'll make the dream reality. Hoping you guys are having a great weekend and don't forget to work hard and party harder!!

Pinky Wednesday

( Wearing: dress Zara knitwear, loafers River Island, sunglasses h&m, computer case Gaudì )

It's a very strange feeling when you sense that your life is in danger. It's something we're totally not confident with, since most of us has never been to war and we don't live during the witch-hunt. We've been having earthquakes here in Northern Italy that were less powerful in the area where I live. This inevitably led me to meditating on danger. On one hand experiencing such a high adrenalin rush might even be thrilling because, when the danger comes, you'll lose all inhibition and follow what you shallow heart says (we should have more of this in regular life, though). On the other, the idea that there might be no escape is dismaying. Although I tend to be a very meek person, if we had an very powerful earthquake here, I'll run the hell out of myself just thinking about my mother's angry face yelling " How could you possibly get injured!? Why didn't you fly out in the first place?!!"...yeah..she strongly believes I'm endowed with super powers..ahahah.

Long time no see...

Hi guys! I've been away from blogging for a while so here's a couple of picture to catch up with what I've been up to in the past *erhm* four months.
pic.1. I've finally graduated! I've committed the past 12 months to studying and I was able to get my degree on time! I feel so relived plus I've had a blast at my graduation party. Definitely one needs to throw a graduation party at least once in life. The local custom is that the graduate friend prepare a poster with the graduate's caricature and write a mocking poetry. My friend R., my sister and my mum did mine and I was so surprised and amused.
pic. 2-3-4-5.  I added a couple of babies to my shoes collection and I probably shouldn't have bought them  but I'm afraid it's too late I don't regret doing it...anyway...the burgundy boots are from asos, the pink sole white loafers are from river island, the spiked loafers are from romwe, the yellow suede sandals are from primark while both the combat boots and the patent court shoes are from a local retailer.
pic. 6. Since I've been done with my final dissertation I finally had time to sew a little bit so I made myself the grey collarless blazer and the leather black "V" skirt (the blue shirt is from Zara). I also did a white scoop back dress for my graduation and I hope I'll be able to show you soon.
pic.7. Finally, I'm glad I'm back and sending you lovlies lots and lots of kisses!

I ♥ blogosphere!

I'll never be tired to say that one of the thing I love the most about blogging is getting in contact with people. What's even better is that they are all caring people. One of them is Neecy from Ivy League who gave me the Kreative Blogger Award! Thank you sooo much!(I wish we lived less far away because I'm starting to think that you must be a very funny person to be with ^_^)
However to fully accept it there are 4 tasks I have to complete:

1. Link back to the person who gave you this award.
 2. Answer the questions below
 3. Award 10 other blogs and let them know in a comment or by email.
 4. Share 7 random thoughts about yourself.

1. Name your favorite song.
I'm a huge Sade's fan..I'll name a random song :Your love is king. I think the sax intro is one of the best of contemporary music. It speaks directly to the soul.
2.  Name your favorite dessert.
  ..this is easy..tiramisù ♥
3. What ticks me off...
Rude people, people moarnig about useless problems, people not taking responsibility for themselves
4. When I'm upset I...
I try not to lose my temper but I always point out my disagreement or disappointment through razor sharp sarcasm.
5. What's your favorite pet..
Mmmm..I don't have any, but if I could I'll go for a big dog.
6. Black or White..
I'd say White. I love being black but it's not my colour at all!
7. Biggest Fear...
  Contracting a deadly disease
8. Everyday Attitude...
Life is short, beatiful clothes are many. Don't waste chances.
9. What is perfection?
  Perfection lays in balance
10. Guilty Pleasure..
I'm an icecream-holic. Don't laugh. I'm not jocking.

Now, I have to say 7 random facts about me:
1. I tend to be very very secretive about my personal life 2. If I don't pose I'm not photogenic at all! 3.I have a rambling blog. It helps me take some of the fuss out of my head 4.I'm attending a sewing course 5.My favourite movie is Dogtooth by Yorgos Lanthimos.(If you don't appreciate black humor just don't watch it) 6. I used to be very shy whe I was a kid 7. I never comment on very popular blogs. I prefer supporting unknown ones. It's not envy, it's matter of marginal utility.

The 10 blogs I'm giving this award to are:
Everybody dies
Isabelle Bonfant
Confection
It's raining on my face
Modamarti
The photograph Collector
Not rude, honest.
La Belle Oiselle
Inexpensive chic

Yearnig...

Yearning

Yearning di temitemi su polyvore.com

Yearnig is one of the things I do the most lately and it's got so severe that I've started doing it even when I sleep!I have so many things I constantly long for that I'm easily distracted and almost uncapable of keeping focus. This are some of the things I wish I could have or do, but most all them are presently unachievable due to lack of time or absence of the guts to overlook the fact that I really don't need them and  to ingnore the price..I just wish they didn't keep hunting me (-_-)"

Shirted up!

Wearing: shirt top Zara, shirt bottom old , brogues old
Pictures by my friend R.

You know I love shirts, but most especially I love wearing them in unconventional ways, as I've already did here and here. This time I wanted to create a very professional but simple look, so I threw on a couple of shirts: one worn as top and the other as button, paying attention to making the buttons match. The result was some sort of shirt suit...mmm...pretty smooth. A hint of colour could not be missing so I added my red turban plus, as usual, ..little or no makeup..

p.s. I've been away from blogging for so long that I almost forgot how it's done. My last post was incomplete so it had to be updated..go check it out!

We'll find love

It's like you're screaming but no one can hear.
You almost feel ashamed that someone could be that important, that without them, you feel like nothing.
No one will ever understand how much it hurts.
You feel hopeless, like nothing can save you.
And when it's over and it's gone,
you almost wish that you could have all that bad stuff back
so you can have the good.
Wearing: top UCB, shorts Minkpink, shoes Romwe

It's kind of clear that this post is inspired by Rihanna's We found love video. Except from growing a huge crush for Dudley O'Shaughnessy, I also loved all of Rihanna's groungy outfit and the video effect. Surprisingly enough popular music of our time can be some sort of inspiration....

If you loved the video either see HD screen shots here
...oh..don't be scared by the header...it doesn't bite..nor shoot  ;)

HAPPY NEW  YEAR SWEETIES
I hope you'll find love in 2012...even in the most hopeless places

Ajar Doors

Wearing:jumper h&m, skirt h&m,shoes primark.
Pictures by my friend R.
This chic otufit is what I wore on my birthday. I have to admit that, unlike the rest of the entire world, I hate my birthday. It might seem (o well it is ) strange but on that particular day I always feel kind of blue. My friend and DIY analyst C. says it may be due to the meterological situation on that paticular day, exaclty 22 years ago and I kind of started believing in that.(a bad reason is always better than no reason). By the way I chose this all knitted cozy outfit that made me feel warm but sublity whispered "I'm the birthday girl". My new suede sandals I got in Baile Atha Cliath make the whole outfit seem so classy. So yes, there has been something pleasant on that day.

Feel no pain..

Hello everyone! Surprisingly it's TemiTemi communicating with planet Earth. I've actually been absolutely unproductive this month so I have lots of things to catch up with, starting with a new blog layout. I've been having this idea in mind for ages but I didn't know where to start from. It then took me ages to realize it but I'm pretty satisfied with the result. I'd love to know what you think! My inspiration was Sade in Feel no Pain video.
..how I love Sade..

Port Láirge:Éire

 Wearing:blouse stradivarius,jumper old,necklace h&m,shorts minkpink,shoes unknown brand,bag vintage (gifted by my caring friend R),coat zara.

Hi Guys, I'm blogging from Port Láirge! The weather here seems hotter than at home (or I just wore thicker clothes than I use to) so I decided to try the shorts-in-winter thing. I'm pretty satisfied with the way the outfit turned out and of course it made lots of head turn in here either - which I'm not sure is quiet positive but I believe it's part of being a fashionista. I added some sort of fall darkness to this look with the black lips (in my case it's just eyeliner and lip pencil) . I'm loving the effect and I might definitely be getting myself a real lipstick. This week I was planning to cross the sea and add some excitement to this short break by heading to London for a couple of days. I knew it was going to be great fun but unluckily I couldn't make it, anyway I'm not letting a little disappointment ruin the rest of my holiday and I'll have to schedule a London trip asap! For now, all I can say is that
The best is yet to come..

So (T)urban

Wearing:shirt zara,blazer asos,jeans ucb,boots romwe,coat h&m,turban loose fabric.

This week we've been having so much rain and wind and cold that my dress code had turned to clochard-style. Really I had so much layering and opposite styles combination that the only thing missing were cutout black gloves! By the middle of the week I also went from urban to turban. I've been tying this colourful fabric on my head to scare the cold away but I fell in love with the way it shapes my face so I wore it for all the rest of the week. Between I love the masculine cut of this look. The blazer and the shirt have an extremely simple line while the balenciaga-like cutout boots are so grounge! The only touch of femininity is conveyed trough red head and strong facial features.
